Who we are
The North Eastern Wheatbelt Travel Association Inc. (NEWTRAVEL) is the representative body for collective tourism marketing and activities in the Shires of Dowerin, Wyalkatchem, Trayning, Nungarin, Mukinbudin, Koorda, Mt Marshall, and Westonia.

Wheatbelt Walks
A bushwalking masterplan to provide comprehensive strategies for managing and developing bushwalking activities within the Wheatbelt Way region, including the Shires of Dowerin, Koorda, Mt Marshall, Mukinbudin, Nungarin, Trayning, Westonia and Wyalkatchem.
This masterplan will serve as a strategic guide for future investments in bushwalking trails, fostering recreation, tourism, and event development while ensuring trails are safe, accessible, and environmentally sustainable. By incorporating stakeholder aspirations, the masterplan will reflect the community’s vision for high-quality, socially inclusive trail experiences throughout the region.
